On Sunday 29th September 2019 we were joined by over 100 people who took part in our annual ‘Walk, Run or Climb’ event at Old Buckenham Country Park. We are delighted to announce that the fundraising total is currently £1,645 and we have all successfully dried out! The weather was kinder than expected but the walkers, runners and obstacle course climbers still battled through some fairly substantial downpours to completed the one mile course! We were very fortunate to be supported by a host of willing volunteers and thank them for supporting Star Throwers.

We would like to say a huge thank you to our main sponsors Kerry Foods Ltd and Jark UK, with their support we were able to hand out medals and goodie bags on the day to all who took part, thank you also to Kettle Chips for providing some tasty treats for the bags! We were joined on the day by Andy’s Woodland Archery who donated all takings to Star Throwers and to the Norwich Rock Choir who did an amazing job singing our runners off and continued to raise spirits by literally ‘singing in the rain’! Lastly, thank you to Ben Devlin and Old Buckenham Country Park for letting us host our event at the beautiful setting again and to Arron for taking our participants round the obstacle course.
