Working with the Anticancer Fund

Star Throwers is delighted to be working with the non-profit organisation the Anticancer Fund in order to provide the best possible service to the cancer patients we support. Star Throwers is now able to provide joint cancer information sessions via video conference with a physician from the Anticancer Fund to support those with a cancer diagnosis. The My Cancer Navigator service from the Anticancer Fund is there to help patients understand their disease and treatment options through evidence-based information. Support can also be provided for questions on specific topics, like clinical trials or treatments still in development.

The Star Throwers cancer support centre is currently open for virtual information and support session on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10am – 4pm we are not open to the public due to the ongoing COVID 19 situation.

To register for our support services please fill in our online ‘Patient Questionnaire’ if you have a cancer diagnosis or have been diagnosed in the past or fill in our ‘Carer Questionnaire’ if you are supporting someone affected by cancer or have lost a loved one to cancer. We will endeavor to reply to your request as soon as possible but our staff are currently working on reduced hours, any questions please feel free to contact us via phone: 01953 423304 or email: info@starthrowers.org.uk.
