I’m running for Star Throwers in October to raise money for those affected by cancer

“This year I’m running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in memory of my grandad who passed away from cancer last year and also my dear friend Delphine who passed away 3 years ago from pancreatic cancer.

Another important person, my mother-in-law, was also recently diagnosed with breast cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy – the money I raise for Star Throwers this year will be especially beneficial to not only her, but so many people going through such a horrible time.”

I’m running for Star Throwers in memory of our friend, Beverly.

“I am running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in memory of our family friend, Beverly Rudrum, who sadly died of breast cancer. She was supported by Star Throwers throughout her treatment – there was always someone to talk to or to give a relaxing massage if required. Beverly also raised money for them when she could by knitting hedgehogs or snowmen at Christmas, and we know she was grateful for all they did for her”.
