Star Throwers were lucky enough to be chosen as the ‘Charity of the Year’ for Fosters Solicitors LLP. In 2018 Fosters staff raised a total of £2735.72, with £896.55 from dress- down days and bake off days throughout the year. Another £251.67 was also raised from Wymondham Wynterfest in December and a further £29.50 from various events throughout the year. Star Throwers also benefitted from their dedicated Charity Will Month, which is held in November every year.
Lisa and Saskia from Fosters Solicitors LLP visited Star Throwers on Wednesday 8thJanuary to present Star Throwers with the cheque and learn how the money raised benefits the patients and carers who visit Star Throwers. Sarah Smith from Fosters said:
We have been honoured to support Star Throwers over the last year, to see the incredible effort and kindness and enthusiasm they put into everything they do, and to be able to help them continue to achieve the things they do is quite humbling.
